If I can get a good deal on the PG Xenon (100X2), should I go for this one or the Audison SRX 2 to power a pair of Focal components? (165 V2) in a s-10 truck.
The hour of final decision is approaching fast. Thanks |
Id go for the PG and save the rest of the cash for something else ;)
|
I disagree.
I believe, and Im sure I've said it many times before, the SRx is the best value in amps right now. I know quite a few people competing with them right now also using Focal comps.....there a really great combo...another is the new Kicker amps. |
I'd have to cast the vote for the Audison.
|
Agreed, Audison and Focal is a nice match.
|
From a sound standpoint - buy the cheaper one, in this case the PG.
From a "look at the stuff I got" standpoint - buy the Audison. |
buy the PG. If you are really disappointed with it you should be able to sell it with minimal losses(assuming you really are getting a GREAT deal). The Audison will still be there if/when you are ready.

Do a search here...
I had a bad experience with the Audison amps. I would go zapco. :D |
Yeah you had a bad experience with a lot of gear that worked just fine for everyone else...I wouldn't put a lot of stock in Rob's bad experience b/c I've heard the amp in question properly installed and set up and it sounds awesome.

pg all the way man,
but audison and focal are from the same dist. and i truly belive that a hienz 57 car is not a pretty thing. id get rid of it all and quart all the way man. headunit, amps speakers, subs. but im not rich and most guys arent. so go with the biggest bang for your buck. it is after all you that is gonna listen to it. |
