who has the better amp audison lrx line or the zapco Reference line ?

 

In my opinion Zapco yet i think i might be tainted a bit....
Yet they are both good amps I feel that Zapco is far better. just my 2cents

how or why is it better?

 

I havn't been too impressed with Audison amps, and I have done evaluation with the VR & Lrx lines. the VR was not bad tonally, but lacks in dynamic and Lrx is open sounding but seems to lack richness tonally.

I would probably go with Zapco. but thats base on the older products. as I havn't done evaluation with the new reference line.

 

If the reference is still the same as the AG line its great stuff.I am always amazed with the power and the sound great!

Arc Audio Signature Series. Robert Zeff designed/built all the old Zapco stuff. He's now exclusive to Arc Audio. He says this is his best work to date amplifier wise.

 

Why wouldn't he -- isn't that like the guys from Exile saying it is better than the stuff they designed for Phoenix Gold?
