I recently added a DVD Player/Mp3 Player to my system that is connected to my Sony ES deck via the Sony XA-300 Auxilliary input adapter.
I noticed right away that if I play the same CD in the DVD player, the volume is not as loud as when it is played directly in the Sony deck itself. Why is this? I assume it might have something to do with the fact that the RCA's have such a low voltage output from the DVD player or something?? Anyone know?? THANKS! |

Chances are the output voltage on the dvd/mp3 player is low.
My Clarion has an adjustable input level for the AUX in. Are you using a headphone out (if so up the volume on the dvd/mp3 player)? Or is it a Line Out? |
