AVI SLS-300 question

Hey guys, i got my hands on a 12" AVI SLS-300. looking for anyone that has any experience with this sub. from what ive read they seem to be a good sub. what specs should i build the box too? manual says either 2 0r 3 cubes, so i was thinking 3 cubes @ 32Hz
going in a s10 ext cab
what do you think?

Thanks

I've had 2 of these bad boys...Quite a nice sub, and 3 cubes @ 32htz would be good

Yeah, 3 cubes seems way too big. The SLS series is a smaller sealed box driver. I think your specs are closer to the SL-300 version.

hmmm.....what's the application? SQ/SPL. Have you plotted the response and gains for a box double the size? I have used the AVI brand a bunch, and I don't think you would be using this as an SPL driver. (assuming of course) That being said, if you are using the driver as an everyday sub or SQ sub, I would look at the CLOSED B option with a nice amount of power. It should sound great!
