sitting around kinda bored thinking about the first system i had... ive went through a bit of stuff... what did you guys have for you first systems.... and what kinda car?

2 jensen 10s ( XS series) a jl w/o 10 in a triple 10 sealed sub box behind the seat of my 81 chevy c-10 off a kenwood PS-200 amp with a kenwood casette deck and6 disk changer.

Hahahaha I thought about this a few times, My first car and stereo, were 2 different vehicles,

First stereo was in a buddies car, it was 2 10" Orion XTR's in a sealed box, with a MEI 600watt amp, Sony cd player, and 8ga wire, and Radio shack RCA's!!Mids were Pioneer 6x9 in Boxes, and Pioneer tune ups(if you remember these you know what im talking about)
All these were in a 1980 Ford Tbird,

My first car stereo in MY vehicle, 1978 Chevy Nova, Sony cd player, and 1 15" Jl AUdio sub in a custom made box made out of a dinner table, and a Pioneer GM something or other amp all with 8ga power wire and 12ga speaker wire!! Oh man that brings me back!!!

An old alpine cassette deck pyrimid 4.5's in the dash and a crunh amp pushin 2 crunch 12's in an 84 cavy hatchback oh ya with 8 ga wire as well

89 mustang Lx, 4 10 inch crunch's in a sealed Texas wedge. Sony, and kicker speakers, rockford fosgate 200.1, and a 2 kenwood amps, pioneer cd, yamaha EQ/crossover, phoenix gold dist/fuse blocks, yes I miss the High School days!!!!

three 10's of the first version sony xplods in a sealed box powered by a kenwood amp (cant remember the model, i think it was 400w or something) and a crappy crappy pioneer deck i got from a friend. i think it was wired up with a cheapy 8ga kit

rockford amp (cant remember the model, it was about 300w i think) and a pair of those old pioneer diamond 10in subs wich i blew because i was too stupid to know what the gain knob did. later replaced by crappy kenwood

77 ford LTD II, JVC dual shaft deck with Alpine 6x9 2ways, and pioneer tune up tweets...eventually I got a Pyramid "200 watt" booster eq....then I owned the road!!

Oh yes I helped my cousin do a system in his car when I was 15, 2 8 inch genexxa's in a wedge box with ear bleeding peezo tweeters from radio shack, and a 50 watt optimus amp, with a kenwood cd player, the cool one that changed from green lighting to orange, that was when it was cool to put a vcr in a car, LOL!!!! I miss being young!

lol good ole days.. 16 years old no worries, bills, or responsabilities.. driving an 89 chev spring with two jl 15s... running off an eclipse amp.... biggest piece of car... but pounded pretty good... that car had alot of girls in its day for how big of a piece of it was... haha
