The phase issues are way to out and in general to pinpoint for something like that to work. Using a TEF I have seen a problem at 2000K and then it being mixed at 2100K...............

Fix the vehile and the install before fixing the sound...............

Depends on the car, my Toyota was build for sound, the entire interior was designed to sound good, same as my Regal is going to be.
