Hey all, do anyone know where I can get a custom box made for an Alpine Type R 12" sub? I want to get the most out of the box (must be ported) but I don't have a clue how to build one. Anyone know of any good sites that I can get one ordered from or even any sites that will give you Step By Step instructions on how to build a ported box. I'm not sure the cubic feet this sub requires yet. Anyone on this fourm know how to make one? I live in NL, just hit my up if anyone can help me out! Thanks all!!!

just go to your local audio shop and ask them to build you one or give you the specs to build your own. Type R's are a great sub but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to build a good box for one. Good luck

you can build it yourself, thats what i did for my two pioneer ts-w306 12" subs, I just searched the net and found that there are tons of sites dedicated to teaching people how to build they're own boxes, many of these sites also show you how to calcualte the dimesions of the box and what you need etc. My box is ported and has two 12s and it was pretty easy to build, so a box for one 12 shouldnt be to hard.
