Bazooka Speakers question
#1
Hi every one.
I have a question about my speakers.
My H/U is Sony CDX-MP30 52W*4.And i have 2 5.25 two-way Bazooka speakers at front and 2 6 1/2 Bazooka at the back.
I am wondering if i can AMP them and get little better Bass out of them (Right now they sound little distorted if i put volume up) Will the AMP make any difference ?
What kind of AMP should i buy (i have 140$ to spend)
Thanks to you all!!!

An amp will definitly make them sound better. Head units are grossly over rated and I would guess that yours is pumping out more along the lines of 18 watts RMS. As for what kind of amp, with a $140, I would shop around for a good quality used amp, something that is rated for roughly 50 to 100 watts a side RMS.

From spinner: "What kind of AMP should i buy"
If you want to amp all four speakers the easiest way is with one 4 channel amp. Usually gives you separate front and rear gains, and you keep your fade capability.
If you use one 2 channel amp and wire each side (two speakers per channel) you will lose your fade.
Some guys go with two 2 channel amps, one for the front, one for the rear.
