hi there i wanted to know suggestions from you guys, wut would the best amp be for my re xxx 12? i was thinking of buying the US AMPS md3d merlin? would that be a good amp for it? any other suggestions? thx!

I would reccomend the US amp you mentioned, I have two MD2D's and love em!

so i guess i'll go with the us amps md3d.. although its 2000 watts rms it says it truly does around 2100rms i was wonderin tho, cant the xxx handle more then 2000rms? ive heard people having the kicker2500.1 or orion hc 2500d would that b too much?

 

You could hook up a 3k rms amp if you want, it just depends on how you set your gains and what kind of box its in. But the box is tied in with your reactive load, which will change depending on the music.

If you have an amp in your sights you might as well go with it, so if its the Merlin in mind and can get it, then get it. Everyone could sit here all day and tell you what amp to buy. Go with a 5k amp if you can find one, it will leave room for additions down the road.

 

thats cool.. yea im jus gona go with the merlin =/ since i jus want good bass dont wanna over do it since im not competing anyone or want to b rly loud and annoy people nd plus my car is pretty small so 2k watts would do wonders :P thx for help!
