Best deadener for the money
Hey guys,
I will be looking to deaden my floor, doors and trunk soon and was wondering what a good alternative to dynamat is? I know deadening all of this will cost a decent amount of money, but I won't shell out for dynamat. Thanks |
I am wondering this aswell, but there are many threads with this, however I want to know has anyone tried spectrum sludge? for its price it could be wort h while

you can get second skin damplifier pro shipped to your door for half of what dynamat costs at a big box. Or you can get normal damplifier for even less.

Was just reading about the sludge... apparently repairing a floor with it on might be a problem for warranty work and such.

Newspapers contact cemented to your floor is pretty cheap.

I picked up Rammatt from sound solution in Lindsay...stuff works nice and its butal rather than tar based. I gained over half a db just deadening the roof with 2 layers, and sells for around $150+ for a 37 ft^2 pack so pretty cheap too.
