Best deadener for the money

Hey guys,

I will be looking to deaden my floor, doors and trunk soon and was wondering what a good alternative to dynamat is?

I know deadening all of this will cost a decent amount of money, but I won't shell out for dynamat.

Thanks

you can get second skin damplifier pro shipped to your door for half of what dynamat costs at a big box. Or you can get normal damplifier for even less.

I was going to get some to try out but ant told me that shipping that stuff across the border is BIG headaches, so i decided against it.

Was just reading about the sludge... apparently repairing a floor with it on might be a problem for warranty work and such.

I picked up Rammatt from sound solution in Lindsay...stuff works nice and its butal rather than tar based. I gained over half a db just deadening the roof with 2 layers, and sells for around $150+ for a 37 ft^2 pack so pretty cheap too.

^^^^100% agreed there is little difference in all the different sound deadeners out there other than thickness. For the price you can't go wrong with Bquiet, but this topic has been done to death.
