best type of screw for mdf subwoofer application

The baffle is the face of the enclosure on which you are mounting the driver (i.e. the side with the big circular hole).

I like T-nuts.

What type of screw for MDF ?

Well, if ur screwy enough to use MDF that should be good enough.... [img]tongue.gif[/img] J/J [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]


If you can't find t-nuts and don't want to order online just countersink some holes in the back of your baffle and epoxy in some nutts..... just be carefull not to get any on the threads...

Edit: you can usually find torx head bolts locally and they may add some security...

I agree, use 1 3/4" or if you have a larger gun 2.25" brad nails and a good wood glue to assemble sub enclosures!
