Which is Better?
If any one can give me some insight on ARC Audio KS series 5.25 speakers and Polk Audio MM series speakers the MM5251 and MM521. As well as the Arc Audio 125.2 mini amp. I am looking for good equipment for my motorcycle fairing. Want to find out from the experianced people here which is the way to go.

I've looked a little into hogtunes and hogwired(I think that's what it's called) and their stats are pretty unimpressive. 15rms a channel with like 10%thd on one of the units I checked. I've used alpine, massive audio and blaupunkt stuff in bikes before and had good results. Definitely check into their stuff, but IMO you're way better off with some efficient car audio amps and speaks.
I've heard Harley has a new manufacturer for their factory stuff which should be retrofittable into some of their older bikes, but I don't think I'm supposed to mention that company as of now. I'll ask my source if it's common knowledge yet and share this info soon if I can. As well as any specs I can get my hands on.

thanks
Thanks. Ya I know Harley has changed their supplier but it still really isn't that great. Better than it was thats for sure but still not great. The hogtunes stuff isn.t good at all. I have had a few people say the Polk Audio MM series speakers or the ARC Audio KS series are the best 5.25 inch speakers to get. Just hoping someone here can help. Wouldn't want to spend major bucks on the wrong ones LOL

Hawgwired claims better #s as far as amps go. I'm a little Leary about the #s they claim from such small amps. As far as speakers, if they handle the amount of power your putting into them the sound makes all the difference. Try to listen to what your speaker choices are before purchasing. Guy A might like one speaker while guy B likes something different. Both those speaker choices sound plausible.

Thanks
Thanks for the info. I know what you mean about the numbers. Hard to believe such small stuff can pump out such power and it be clean. ARC Audio is claiming 250 watts from their 125.2 mini amp www.arcaudio.com
