i'd say make a better ground from the battery to the body that might help stop the dimming

hope depot stuff sucks balls

get welding cable

ground your amp straight to the battery as well as the frame

I thought grounding your amp straight to the battery was the worst way of grounding your amp?

^^not if it's also grounded to the frame...essentially you want as much conductor between the amp and the battery, unless you want to run 4 or 5 "0" awg cables directly to your battery, it's a good idea to use your car's chassis as well. I think Prolifik is just saying that it's a good idea to run cable directly to the battery to avoid any issues with poor conductivity through the frame. This does work very well, especially these days with all the plastic and insulation in the unibody of most cars. I did it about a year ago and it got rid of most of my dimming problem. I second the welding cable as well...cheap, tough, flexible and cheap(had to say that twice)!
