BIG 3 question.
I Got my system in and it POUNDS!!!!
rf t30001 2 rf t2 12's 4ohm dvc running at 1 ohm rf 8004 for speakers and kappa perfect all the way around anyways my light DIM BAD!! I want to wire up the big three, should i get normal audio 0gauge? or homedepot 0gauge? Any informartion would help...and a link to any big 3 info Cheers |
i'd say make a better ground from the battery to the body that might help stop the dimming

^^not if it's also grounded to the frame...essentially you want as much conductor between the amp and the battery, unless you want to run 4 or 5 "0" awg cables directly to your battery, it's a good idea to use your car's chassis as well. I think Prolifik is just saying that it's a good idea to run cable directly to the battery to avoid any issues with poor conductivity through the frame. This does work very well, especially these days with all the plastic and insulation in the unibody of most cars. I did it about a year ago and it got rid of most of my dimming problem. I second the welding cable as well...cheap, tough, flexible and cheap(had to say that twice)!

anyone got any tips for grounding in the trunk of a lancer? Its unibody, so idunno about grounding to the frame..
