I wasn't going to say anything - but someone brought it up on the regular forum.

Better talking about it here - regardless of whether the guys still in business or not - customers dont need to see or hear the uglies of this industry.

I dont know the exact deal - Charlie Lillies knows more than I do. Actuallt it was Charlie that gave me the heads up.

There was no warning from Paul - called him on the Friday - he said he needed some more gear and would call me on Monday - he never did call - then I got the call from Charlie on Tuesday.

They cleaned evrything out over the weekend and left all the suppliers hanging - hopefully he'll do the right thing and return the goods.

I wont mention how much - but it chump change - thats for sure !!

Any help in getting in touch with Paul would be appreciated.

As a small business owner I feel for the situation, it's sad to see it happen cause it hits home and you realize it could happen to you.

I sold a bunch of wiring today to a customer of Pauls. Paul is building the customers truck at the customers shop in Abby........Chevy truck with Flames on it.........

Either way you cut, that is pretty damn low when you call for more product then jump ship. If Boomers was going under the least they could have done is call up the vendors and have them grab they gear. We all know how hard it can be sometimes and regardless what anyone says, no one likes to see people fail. As Tim states, too close to home.

Actually - talked to Paul today - and he was quite apologetic about the whole situation - he says thta he has a bunch of our product in a large box and will be shipping it to us next week.

Thats speaks volumes about his integrity - it is too bad that it came to this, but this is a tough game and you have to be careful with your bills and not let them get out of hand.

He never tried to order product by the way - he was probably just using it as a stall tactic - since he moved the gear out that weekend.

Again - if he does send the product back - cudos to him for being honest and doing the right thing. I only wish him the best going forward - and hope he makes it okay.
