Opinions on these speakers? I've put off stereo upgrades for a long time now and am ready to make a purchase sometime soon.

I will just be installing 6.5 comps up front and 6x9's in the back - No sub for the moment.

Other comp set-ups on my radar are:

JLXR's
Alpine SPX-17 Pro TypeX

I'm eyeing a Fosgate T-600-4 as the powerplant?

I own these speakers, but they are not in my car yet.. I'm waiting on a head unit. I do however own the older boston pro's from a few years ago as well (still in my other vehicle) and I like them very much, which is largely why I'm giving these pro60's a shot for my new car.

 

They are awesome...mounted in the door.

 

Really nice speakers. Give them lots of power and they will sing!

 

I just ordered 2 sets of them. I've owned BA's for years now and I've never been dissapointed by them.
