thats right me again.

i bought 2 of the jbl gt120's for $100.00 brand new.

now i need an amp, and since xs cargo has been flying all over this board can someone tell me which of the ultralinears or cliff designs ammps would be efficient for the 2 jbl's.

ultralinear 800 WATT 2-CHANNEL UL2250
http://www.ultralinear.com/productca...6&prodtype=car

or

CLIF DESIGNS
700 WATT 2 CHANNEL HIGH CURRENT AMPLIFIER
http://www.clifdesigns.com/home_prod_amp_hc.html or
CLIF DESIGNS
525 WATT MONOBLOCK AMPLIFIER CD700A
http://www.clifdesigns.com/home_prod_amp_ab.html

i am getting confused over the ohm rating and dont know if these will work.

hoping for an answer soon as I will be buying the amp today

thanks
kingpin

IMO i'd get the monoblock CD700A it puts out 475 w @ 2 ohms and would match youre ohm load and rms handling of those subs.

Why not see what you can find in the for sale section.

There are some decent smaller Fosgates and Kickers in there last I looked.

If not that, then go with whichever one you like better at XS.

I think they'll be pretty comparable, although Clif does have a better overall rep than Ultralinear.
