There's lot of places in Scarborough to get carpet, a few stores on Kennedy would be the easiest. There's a small store on kennedy, south of ellesmere, on the west side of the road, it's by the bagel place. Sorry I can't remember the name of the store, but it's a small one and you'll most likely miss it, but they're really friendly there, and have good prices, and will sell you carpet. I bet if you ask nicely then can even tell you how to do it too
But it's not really that hard. You'll need the carpet, and spray glue to attach it (imo easiest way). I can't really explain how would be a good way to do it, but trial and error works good

If you can't find the carpet locally, Sound Domain carries it in several colours. As for the technique, someone once told me to wrap it like a Christmas package and that always stuck with me. I find that if you start with the main edge on a hidden side and try to keep your seams on a side that is hidden the most, it can look pretty good. Also, ov erlap your edges and trim them flush with a razor blade. You should only ever have one layer of carpet on any one part, that is don't let any edges overlap once you are finished. Also, because of the construction of box carpet, it is very easy to "blend" the edges together and if you trim the edges well, you may never even see a seam. Also, another little tip I find helpful is to spray your box with a light coat of spray-paint that is the same colour as your carpet. That way if any seams are exposed a bit, the paint will cover the bright box material.

Most places will look at you funny if you ask for anything matching box carpet's description. Even fabric stores do not have anything like it. Pretty much any car audio store that does installs or builds enclosures will sell it to you off of the roll for about $10 a yard. The trick is finding a store that will get you colours other than charcoal. I only ever found one shop that could get me different colours and last time I went back, they had lost their supplier and the next best thing was much more expensive.

Try Surplus stores, the ones around here seem to have an abundance of the stuff.
