Box Placement in Trunk?? Need Some More Help
Hey everyone,
I've got another question for you all, and I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out. The box that my sub is in is just too big to be forward or rearward facing in my trunk. I don't think it's possible to get it in the trunk (It's a Cavalier remeber!) so that it is facing forward or backward. There's enough room there for it, just not enough to get it in place, if you can figure out what I'm talking about. Anyways, my question is, can I put the subwoofer in the trunk facing upwards? If I do, am I facing any disadvantages such as the SPL levels, more rattling, ect, ect...
I know that most of you will say "Build another box with the same volume and port specs that can be placed into the trunk." But I really don't know how to design it to get it to pound as much as it does now, nor do I think I'd be able to assemble it, even if I got the free MDF cuts from Home Depot. Can anyone help me out? Thanks,
Hodder
