I was just woundering at what point the car windows will stat to crack in a car audio system?>

Windows generally start breaking at the point when someone else's desire for your equipment is greater than his fear of getting caught. ;)

Unless you are doing high 60's in SS on the new mics I would not worry about it.

So basicly all you would need is say... 100 000 watts, mondo subs, lots of batteries and some skill.

Do not worry about it. Glass is pretty flexable.

To put this in perspective. At Dbdrag finals last year.. there was 1 broken windshield..

Unlles your windows are allready cracked... Then it wont take a hell of alot, but still a bit... But then again weird things happen at weird times, funny eh?

I had a Shiva getting roughly 150W RMS in a 3CF box tuned to 30Hz. The vehicle is a 96 Mazda with a 3" crack on the side of the windshield... I was messing around playing some music and all of a sudden the music goes into a very very low passage and all of a sudden that little 3" crack runs like 6" more across the windshield. LOL!

thats easy...i spidered a crack all the way around my windsheild with my L7 15" and a memphis 1000d

you guys should all go and redo the seals on your winshields.... Only yime the pressure should crack the window is ig it's already cracked, or if you have a bad seal that allows the winsheild to move...
