Bridging my 4 ohm 2channel amp
Yo
I'm currently running a Pioneer Premier PRS-D2200T (see PRS-D2200T - PRS-Series 2-Channel Full-Range Class FD Amplifier with ICEpower Technology | Pioneer of Canada - English ) and I've blown up one of my two RF 10's so I'm looking at upgrading to some new subs. The above mentioned amp is "Bridgeable two-channel amplifier" - 150W rms x 2, or 600W rms x 1, 4 ohm So to maximize my output I am going to go for two 10s bridged to mono. Does this mean I should be getting 2ohm subs because my amp is 4 ohm? For the record, I think I'm going with these subs... you are correct. A pair of 2 ohm subs will be best for you wired in series to 4 ohms.
