Hey what's going on? I just stumbled onto this site looking for some Canadian car audio sites and thought some people here could help me out, well any ways I am looking to build a sweet car audio system, right now I have the following equipment:

-(2)12" Audiobahn Flame Q Subs 1100watts RMS
-Boss 1400D 1400watt x 1ohms

and I am probly going to grab 2 pioneer components systems that comes with 1 little amp for them, so I am wondering what is a good deck maybe something motorized, or with a detachable face plate or something with anti-theft and what is a good cap for that setup, and also what you guys think of the stuff I have already?

Oh ya this is for a 1990 GMC Safari Van...

look at the alpine decks, they are nice. Personally, I like the Kenwood eXcelon series, they do mp3 really well and I have had no problems with my Kenwood's at all. Eclipse makes awesome decks, though not much on the looks factor. Pioneer's are ok.

As for cap's, i dont' like them but if you think you need one, look in the for sale section, lots of them for sale decent priced in there.

1) Alpine CDA, Pioneer Premier, Kenwood eXcelon, Eclipse, Clarion Pro Audio for head units.

2) I'd probably get a new sub amp.

3) I wouldn't get a cap, not worth the scrilla.

I've got a KDC-X559 and I've had no problems with it. I might complain that doesn't give the greatest output voltage but for aesthetics it looks pimp in my golf. Lots of options and good sound quality. Whenever I take my car into a car audio shop, they always scoff that I have a Kenwood deck; but they are running a business and the praise of their equipment and derrogation of mine could theoretically lead to a sale.

I've received mixed reviews about audiobahn. Some people love it while I've heard that some people disrespect it. I've never heard good audiobahn stuff so I would be interested to hear someone's experience with Audiobahn.
