My Girlfriend and I decided to try out the drive in at the Docks this past weekend. I don't know how many people on the board go to the drive in but man was it fun. We watched spiderman 2 and even though the sound comes through a crappy FM channel the whole car was rumbling with the sound of Dr. Octaveous' claws.

If you have a sound system make sure to try out the drive in. The only concern I had was my Battery lasting through the movie. I'm not sure about other people's battery issues but I'm running my stock battery out of my 2002 Golf and my 1500 + watt system was powered fine for the 2 1/2 hour movie. I also have jumper cables in the trunk so I wasn't really worried.

It's fun! and with speaker upgradesd and 5.1 surround sound it's NUTZ!! LOL... have fun... i'd like to do that more often actually.... al the cars around you just turn there heard when guns and explosions go off! AHAHA..

There is a drivein by my fiancee's parents place...have been there in my car and a car with no system...obviously more enjoyable in mine [img]smile.gif[/img]

 

Yep done that, much more enjoyable then the stock car system sucked after I sold the system sounded like poo..

 

Providing you're receiving an FM signal of the movie, that would rock.

I was at a drive-in once and they had only an AM station. Man did that blow.

 

The only drive in that was semi close to me (langley) is now closed

 

BC sucks now that we have no more drive-ins.

 

There is still one up around Lumby.
