Calling All Eclipse CD7200MK11 Owners
 

I have ordered one of these units and was reading through the manual but couldn't find out if it has a tilt feature with the front display. The older models used to have this feature where you can adjust the display angle by holding the "open" button.

Does this unit have this feature?

Nevermind, I got my answer. NO :bs:

My ten year old 5506 has a continuously variable face plate tilt angle. I am fairly appauled that this far more advanced player doesn't have this basic function. Come on Eclipse get it together! :lame:

more stuff that moves is more stuff that can break... give me simple and cheep and spend money where I can hear it!

This was a basic function of all the older model Eclipse flip-face decks. As far as more moving parts is concerned, the flip-face is already motorized so the moving parts are already inplace. They just went cheap and left out the additional control circuitry for the tilt feature.

Its just annoying, because typically you expect the flagship dead head to add features as time moves forward not drop them.
