Can anyone help?
I was wondering if there is such a thing as a waterproof distrobution block. I am using it underneath my hood for majority of the power connections. I need one with four or five 4 gauge inputs. If anyone knows of what company makes one that would be much appreciated.
Thanks Shawn! |
You can use any regular block - waterproof only keeps it cleaner inside, there is no safety issue.

are your battery and alternator connections waterproof? no, so you don't need a waterproof distro block.

If you really want it water proof get some plastidip or some liquid electrip tape.

i do understand what your saying you just dont want it to look nasty after a month, if you use a good distro block and aply a fine layer of electrolic grease youll be just fine, and no rust no mess :)

^ Spraying with something like WD40 keeps them in reasonable condition too.
