I'm going to be building an SPL box for one 12" Orion HCCA. With about 800watts going to it. It will be going in the back of a hatchback 1987 Ford Mustang. I was wondering is it important to have the port on the same face of the box as the sub? Should I have the port firing backwards or towards the front of the car? What frequency should I tune the box to? And how much volume should the box be? Is bigger better? I figure I can get roughly 7 cubes if I fold the back seats down.

7 Cubes is freakin' huge! I think that might be pushing it a hair!

Spl box building

Hi can u help me with specs for a spl box
i have 2 10inch subwoofers which are targa comps
i am currently doing 147 dbs at 55hz with the box i have thanks
