can my car take it??

its me again!!yay!Just one more question.If my car has a 80amp alternator will it take a 75 amp amplifier. I have a 1993 Toyota Camry 1993 4dr sedan v6=)

yes it can, battery compensates for it, but you will most likely get dimming on hard bass notes.

thanks man!You helpd me alot and cleared a thought out of my mind =)

Ha!
You'll have no problem!
I have a similar car - '97 tercel, and I had 2 amps, each with a pair of 30 A fuses (totalling 120A) All on the original alt and battery of the car. I ran it like this for 1.5 years - it pounded (although headlight dimming was significant) but there were no long term ill effects.

Is there a way to get rid of the dimming.ie power caps ,bigger battery, better alternator.Or would the big three fix that sort of problem.

unknown123 11-28-2009 11:03 PM

no idea =p.But i know the big three is a big help =p.Also a H.O. alternator

Killer_klown187 11-28-2009 11:12 PM

big three, Also a better battery(deep cycle vs standard is night and day)

DeadlySones 11-29-2009 07:48 AM

^^^ x2. Then if you still have problems (which I dought, going by the amps you listed in your thread) then a H.O. alt will pickup the slack. :)
