Can one of you identify these mbQuart crossovers and point me toward the specs for them?

So, those are the 2 way crossovers? Is there a website with specs for older products like that? Do you know the model number for the components they came with?

They're a 2-way set out a of 6.5" MB Quart comp set.

Do you know what the crossover points would be?

I'd like to be able to build my own, but I'm having trouble finding out how to pick the parts to build to a specific frequency.

Passive Crossover Design Equations Formulas Calculator - Two Way First Order Network Butterworth Handy website, first you figure out if you want to do first (6db/octave), second (12db/octave), etc and then plug in the frequency.

With the crappy picture I thought they said pro216.

It does say PRO 216..

Yup, 2-way MB quart pro series... the reason for the extra terminals is that they allowed the user to biamp the set... however if you're going to be running seperate channels for the tweeter, you may as well go active IMHO.

If you want some great custom x-overs, conact Solen in St-Hubert,Qc. Solen.ca is the site, they make the BEST crossovers. They will design them to your specific needs. Not that expensive unless you are running a complete setup with passive x-overs, then you will spend a few hundred $ just on coils.

I have a set of leftover crossovers, looks just like those except the circiut board isn't red.
Came from my RCE-216's and they'll go in the garbage with all the other leftover mounting hardware, grills etc.
MBQuart spent more money on the fancy box and packaging than they did on making the set of speakers...
