I have a Zapco Ref750 that may end up powering an eventual woofer.

I was thinking of a 12W7, but can it survive the 3ohm load?

Birthsheet claims 1000WRMS@4ohms. Would 3 ohms be to little resistance?

Would I have to get a 13.5 since it is already at 1000WRMS@4ohm?

Thanks

No - perfectly fine - we've talked with Zapco directly and your set up will be great. Lots of power - no issues.

In the past I have run there 350's at 2 ohms mono for long periods of time with no issues even though it was not recommended, I would think your in good hands with 3ohms.

oh really? Great!

Then I just might get myself an other 750 and a W7.

I was thinking of a ref500 for the new Brahma markIII but it seems that they will never be available...

I ran my 350 at 2.5 ohms with no issues for a while.

3 should be fine

Enjoy, those amps are sweet !
