Canadian winters

hello, as you may know winter is coming, and i was wondering if i should take my amplifier out of my car for the winter. im expecting it to be at least -20 and i cant decide. there is also the fact that the tempurature in my car is going to be going up and down every time i drive it as i have the heater on. Is such a low tempurature going to harm my amp(t31000d)?

i use a battery blanket for all my speakers and amps
so i can prewarm them before using
i have it on a timer so that it is ready for use when i leave

this is something i have been starting to wonder lately too because i just bought a new amp and subs and wasnt sure if i should put them in considering winter is right around the corner .... altho i know so many people that dont do anything diffrent in winter.....

lived in edmonton and had a stereo for about 5 years now....it's gotten down as cold as -53 (with wind chill) the one day.....and my stereo is stiil surviving. (Granted i never had an indash screen then).

I think assuming you let the speakers/amps warm up before using them you'll be fine. I try and get to the point where it's warm in the cabin, and i gotta turn down the heat, which is likely before hte speakers are cold, but they've done ok for the last couple of years so meh.

Plus, i think most car stereo equipment is made with varying weather patterns in mind.

Maybe at the coast, but not the rest of BC.

I would maybe be concerned if I lived in Saskatchewan, but otherwise I would not wory about it.
