Question can't find anyone to answer this, help

I was considering buying a 15" orion hcca sub to pair with my 2500d, has anyone ever used or heard a 15" hcca before?

Are you looking at the new HCCA 15's or the older H2 series?

They were a very good sub series in the past and still have the upper hand on lots of technology, but i hope you like sealed as everyone, from competitors to orion themselves recommend you use sealed even in SPL applications, they do not recommend any form of ported enclosure.

i,m not to fond of sealed enclosures, and i,m not sure how you would get good spl out of a sealed enclosure. why couldn't you put one in a ported, their website recomends a 3.5 cu foot ported or 1.9 to 2.5 sealed?

There are no recommendations for ported boxes for the new HCCA subs (2007) on the site anywhere even their forum and even in the manual which i have copies of that i recieved from the forum. So if you have seen where they mention using a ported enclosure for spl give me the link. But i have been wrong before so... but the subs are excellent.
