Cant get wire to speakers in the doors
I was trying to wire up my new speakers and I was going to pass the new wire through the rubber sleeve which joins the door to the rest of the car, but there is no way to get the wire through. There is some sort of wire plug in which blocks the entire hole off. I was going to drill a hole but the steel of the frame is way to thick and theres way to many wires/electronics on the other side that are in the way. How else can I get the speaker wire to the door speakers?

You can use the factory wiring, just find the wire, tha goes to the door, and sold the new one, factory must be a 18 gauge...You wont find a big change in sound.

Before you give up on the idea, did you try using a piece of stiff wire (stiff like a coathanger, only a smaller gauge) then if you can get that through tape your new wire to the end of it and pull through... my 2 cents

Where would I find the factory wire? and wouldn't 18 gauge be too small?
