CAPACITOR installation- picture
i was provided with these instructions for my boss capacitor, and i was wondering, do i have to use a d-block (i do have one), or would it be better to simply wire the cap directly inline wit the power cable and amp. I'm running a single zx750.1 amp for a subwoofer.

If you mean a series connection by 'in line' no
you may use the + post as its own distribution block you may also use the - post of the capacitor as a Distro block the goal is to have it in parallel with the amplifier with as little wire between the cap and the amp as possible |
umm i'm a bit lost, so do i just follow that diagram? or can someone plz draw me one out, i'm a bit new at this

no you dont. All that i have done and ever seen is run your power wire from the battery to the +12 of the cap and then out of the +12 of the cap to your amp +12. If your cap does not have a distro block on the top of it all that it has is two bolts then use 2 ring terminals on the +12 one ring for the wire from the battery and a nother for the wire that is going from the cap to the amp.
