Car power output question..Basic

Ok, so I am a newbie here, and first off this site is pretty awesome. It has been about 15 years since I have been into car audio. (Back in my mini-trucking days). My question is... How do I know when to upgrade the power system of my car? Right now I am running an Mmats 600 watt 4 channel amp to my mids and highs, and I have a "cheap" Powerbass 12" with the enclosed mono amp built in the box. I am thinking about upgrading to a better quality sub, maybe 2, and running a better quality mono amp. Looking at the HiFonics Brutus 1100 watt actually. Back in the day, HiPhonics were great, so feel free if they are sub-par these days. Anyway, I have an 07 Camry, and I'm not sure if she can handle the load running two amps.. I hope maybe just a capacitor will be all I need, but not sure. Thanks in advance for any advise.
