I just bought a 2003 cavalier and I got the stock am fm radio figuring I would just swap in my deck from my last car but I do not want to go through all the problems of the relocation harness, or have to worry about not having the deck its self in and running into problems.
So i was wondering wat is the unit called that allows you to plug a CD changer into your radio anntena. The ones I have seen a small boxes that plug in where the radio anntenna plugs in and the changer and the radio antenna plug into it. Also Can you get them online cheaper? I saw one in a store a while back and it was almost $50 |
I assume it is just called an RF adapter or modulater but if it has a special name shout it out.
Also who makes a cheap changer? |
NE one

its a fm modulator and its specific to the changer
you can get ones that have a aux input as well as in the air bag think i would take it with a grain of salt what happens when the cars get 5- 10 years old and the radio breaks is gm asuming liability if you take your radio out to get it repaired and also why is it gm dosn't have a bullitin on this? why is it that when you take the radio out that your air bag light dosn't stay on in the same way your check engine light stays on when you engines not right i have done several with no problems customer signs the invoice refusing to use the device or relocator [ June 29, 2003, 09:37 AM: Message edited by: pinhead ] |
