You making fun of me? I don't understand it the gain says normal and then like 6 V to .5 volt and Normal is about 2 Volts but my new JVC head unit it sounded like crap even with the sub level at full like no power but after adjusting all the speakers and then turning the gain all the way up or close to 3/4 the way up it sounds great and loud now.

ok cool so it should be fine? the first 3 days after I installed the new JVC unit the on on sale for $120 at futureshop boxing week sale with 2 usb and bluetooth and mic I kept adjusting the Gain numb but it was labled funny and I kept turning the gain lower to the left hahaha and wouldn t go higher then about 1/2 way because it said normal, after like a week I tried the other way and was like bingo got it now. The diamond sub my neibour biult the box to spec I posted pics in here somewhere of the building of it, it was his first box build and I couldn't help much. and no 45's in the corners and stuff but one day I plan on building the same box but do it right if I could get a bit of help because reading, writing and math, I'm not to good at.

 

take your extra money and upgrade the speakers now

I just thought it was cool not trying to break any records or anything, what's so week about it?

I have a family 2 kids one 13 and one 3, we only have one car I have a jvc deck, a printer amp 400 wats RNA at 2 ohms and a single diamond audio 12 inch in a box my neibour throw to gether in about an hour?

My sister work for a major car audio magazine in Canada and if I really wanted to I could have realy nice gear for my car next to nothing but I choose not to ask here and but what I can afford. I might be in my car maybe 1 hiur or less a week because I can not work due to an injury.

Everything I have I got for my b day or Xmas presents.

 

Also I have to install all my amps and decks myself to save on install costs and half the time I just have to try not really knowing what everything means
