I am wondering, from any useres out there..
1) has anyone had any issues with these units malfuntioning/breaking over time??
2) I know they are nice, but is a used one worth $400 nowadays? (providing it works perfect)
3) do these units ever have issues playing burnt cd's?

1)i've only been using mine for a few months now. can't comment on logevity,however it is a 2004 model,i bought used.and it functions pefectly.
2)took me about a year and i got extremly lucky and found one for $250.
after going from an eclipse cd5000 to a drz was like night and day.i would spend $400 for a fully functional used one.just my opinion.
3) i have no issues with burnt cd's. scratched disc's don't seem to
work well though.

$250! thats what i'm looking for! lol, thats good to hear though. this one is a 2004 model as well. it hasn't been in use for a year and a half though.

im just hoping the deck will live up to what i have heard and be at least as good as my recent 9965. thanks for the input scott2. i always like to hear from hands on experience. ...now i just need to find myself a deal like yours !

Wow, $250 is unheard of

i agree, they are hard enough to find at all, let alone for that price. that's a sweet deal

of cos, must include DC converter ..

not only the converter,but i would hope original box,cage,wiring, manual and remote. just to be resonably sure it not stolen.

No problems here. Mines from 2004. :)
They usually sell for $600 USD complete.
I think the prices are creeping up though.

your's is the one i was going to buy when i first posted this thread Rob.
i opted for the McIntosh instead though.

if you have patience you can find them below well below $600.

You just got a p99...what do you need a drz for?
