Compatibility of Pioneer CD-IB100 iPOD adaptor
Ran some searches & Pioneer's web couldn't find anything about compatibility. I recently picked up the Pioneer CD-IB100 and hooked up with my Pioneer DEH-P6800MP. I don't have an iPOD myself but would like to know if it will work with all iPODs or specifically Nano, Photo or Video? (My main concern is if I can operate the iPOD Nano 2 & 4GB through the head unit. Thank you! :smokin:

As long as they use the same cord to plug in you should be fine. I can't see it not working.

I use the CD-IB100 with an iPod video, which works fine. I also have used the same dock at work that a friends 4gig Nano uses, which leads me to believe they both work the same.

Thanks for the inputs.
I finally got a 2GB Nano on hand, plugged it in, the deck reads everything on the iPOD even shows the status of playing. But I'm not getting any sound at all. On the iPOD side, it reads the unit is connected to the Pioneer head no problem. This is why I posted because I have heard CD-IB100 is not compatible with Nanos, but if 4GB works then why wouldn't 2GB does the same? :dunno: |
is your aux in turned on?? not sure but might be the prob.

the nano, mini, video, etc. all work
