A 1000 watts rms at 1 ohm amp.

What kinda car are you putting these subs into and what is your budget?

well i have a '00 audi TT it has the premium bose 7 spkr sound system, i imagine its all pretty good stuff but i turn the knob to 100% and need more, boom. my budget is like 800 canadian :S so if i have 2x500W speaker it means i need a 1000 watt amp, thats costly i imagine.

A 1000 watt amp at 1 ohm amp is easy to come by these days for a decent price.

do you have an aftermarket headunit or are you using a Line out converter?

um, when we were buying the car, we just checked off bose sound system upgrade, does that make it the origional head unit? :P also, will i need a capacitor?
