Component set with head unit power
 

Hey,

Can someone recommend a low to medium priced component set to run off the deck power, if there is such a thing. I heard JBL had 6x9's rated at 2 ohms which could run off the deck, and wonder if they have that 2-ohm GTO set designed similarly. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I have a couple set of the JBL 2 ohm components in the store, 5.25" and 6.5" sizes. They seem to do just fine off of deck power.

those work well since they are pretty efficient to begin with. And leave you plenty of room to add an amp later

Thanks guys. I am pretty sure these JBL's are the best choice for this set-up. Also, just looked at Infinity Kappas, which are also same impedance design and are 95db efficiency. One or the other I guess.
