Component speakers

Hi

I have a 00 hyundai tiburon and i'm running 6.5 pioneer in front (TS-A1672R)which are some of the worst mid/high i've come across in my life,5.25 Apline S-series added in custom rear spots and factory hyundai 6X9 in the original rear spots.

I hate the sound from the pioneers but i dont want to change them because it's very hard and long to get those doors off...

so i want to cut the high frequencies from the front and shoot them on the back on the 6X9 and 5.25.

But Hyundai's, even if they already sound better than pioneer's, cant handle high frequencies...so i want to put components 6X9 and instal the tweeters somewhere close to front seats maybe in B-pillars, i dont know yet.

Is there any thing that would sound as great as Alpine's speakers with separate tweeters(for less than 200 bucks)

PS:they will run on UltimateSound T-50, about 50W RMS wich is not alot so i dont need powerfull speakers they just have to sound great, and i know that alpine's tweeter are swivel mount (R-series for 6X9) so i could do with that...but separate tweeters would be way better.

If you like the alpine s-series, then i suggest you get a 6.5" component set for the front doors. You can probably get the components and install for just over 200.00...i know best buy has them for 160.00. Messing around with the rear speakers isn't a good fix for your problem.

You will not fix your problem by messing with the rear speakers. Take the door panels off (really not that hard at all actually) and replace the speakers there with better ones. You should be able to fit a 6.75" component speaker there and I have a great deal on Eclipse speakers right now. Basically if I can tell it to you straight, you have a mix of speakers in there and no real rhyme or reason to where they are and what they are. You want to fix it, the front speakers are the most important ones in the car.

When was the last time you went to a concert and stood with your back to the stage? Then why would you want all the vocals from your music to come from behind you. Spend the money *sound deadener in doors* *an amp to power your new front stage speakers* once you get the front right you may not even care to have mids/highs in the rear of your vehicle

ok i don't know when was last time wou got a tiburon door panel off but it have to be a realy long time for you to not remember when it was.. those doors are horrible to get off plus they hold with litle plastic stud wich are almost impossible to save(plastic is a lot weaker after 11 years)...last time i had my doors off,to instal those of pioneer, it took me a week and a half to have my new plastic studs to mount my doors back(lucky i broke just 3 unless it would have been a month)...i realy dont have this time to spend right now...

And the thing is that i HAVE to change those hyundai speakers because they cant handle the power i need them to handle...sadly I cant afford to change both...and i need to keep 6X9 back there because i'm listening to a lot of hard rock and punk rock so it need to be clear and VERY LOUD in the 45-70 hz my sub(single 10) is tuned between 45-50 Hz to help giving a lot of kick.buying new speakers for front and put my pioneer in the back spots with adapters could never play as loud as factory 6X9 around 70 hz...i would gain on quality but loose way too much on power since those pioneer can't play below 80 at descent input power

is there any other options?buying separate tweeters...i would plug on the X-overs on the front stage wires comming from the amp and put speakers on my dash? is there anything cheap and good in that way?i could spend a litle less on the rear stage and buy those tweeters...

PS:My system is already running on 4 amps so i dont realy need an extra amp for my front stage since evry set of speakers is running on a T50...and the 5.25 alpine on back are there because when youre sitting at back you cant hear things clear and i had frends complaining about it...i had those alpine for an old set up just gathering dust on a bookshelf...so i putted them in there...

I have a great deal on component 6x9" speakers if that is what you are after. Yes I have taken those doors apart and realistically if you know before hand that the plastic studs are going to snap, buy new ones now so that you don't have to wait..... I guess I just like to fix the problem properly instead of throw money at it and hope for the best. You will do what you will do, I will help you out if that is the path that you want to take.

ok,

I know you're right but i don't have the money to go that way...i don't want to change aftermarket speakers with aftermarket speakers and leave those factory there...

but i have a friend that could sell me used 6X9 for almost nothing so i could also change my front stage...they are sony X-plod...i dont like what i've heard from them compared to alpine but i guess they will do the job for 40$

could you just drop a link for your components 6X9 and the best 6,5 or 6,75 componets you have for less than 150-200$

or may be ill just wait and buy them both...

Here are the advertised specials that I have right now, these are darn fine speakers and at get them now or lose them forever kind of pricing. If you cannot afford them right now, stick a deposit on them and I will take them aside for you. This will guarantee your set of speakers and the pricing on them.

SC6500 - 6.75" 2way Reg $299.00 special $219.00
ECLIPSE Component Series Speaker SC6500 | Fujitsu Ten
SC6900 - 6x9" 2way Reg $449.00 special $249.00
ECLIPSE Component Series Speaker SC6900 | Fujitsu Ten

Pointsource Speakers

SP6910 - 6x9" 2way Reg $279.00 special $149.00
ECLIPSE 2-Way Point Source Speaker SP6910 SP6510 | Fujitsu Ten

We have installed these speakers in a Tiburon before and had great results for the customer. He was completely overwhelmed at the level of performance that his system came up to with upgrading from basic aftermarket speakers.
