concept subwoofers

My friend is looking to buy one, its a 12" 1000rms model (sorry I don't have a model number) and he was wondering if these are any good? Does anybody know about concept or their products and would you recommend them?

I have a concept 1000rms 12 zt 124 or something like that. It is a fairly cheap sub. The cone is weak, the suspension is loose and it doesn't handle power very well. The only good thing on the sub is the motor and with crap soft parts it is really a waste. The sub didn't sound to bad but like i said it doesn't handle power very well

If you want to cheap out on 200-600rms, by all means go for it, but when you start getting upwards of 1000rms or more, you're going to want quality stuff.

I don't know "Concept", so I can't say whether its quality or not, but Jesse is right, the soft parts are going to make or break s sub. Not necessairly the biggest name brands, but a lot of unknown or upcoming companies put in a lot of work into the soft parts so that they can last.
