Connecting MP3 Player

How can I connect a MP3 player to my deck? I have a Pioneer DEH-7800MP deck. It has an auxiliary input in the back so I'm thinking I just need a cable? If I wanted to control the music on my deck, would I have to have a USB cable? or would I be able to use the headphone jack on the mp3 player.

I'm pretty sure the one marked "cable" is the one you need
