Converting from 2-way passive to active

Hi Guys,
I need some help with a install that I have in my car. I know everyone says that active is the way to go and I have never attempted it. Can someone let me know if I have the wiring end of it correct. First off I have Pioneer AVH-4700bs, Massive Audio ck6x 6.5's all around, 1- 10" Massive audio DVC and a Alpine PDX-V9 (900/5) amp running everything. Wiring wise i can just use Channel 1 bridged to front tweeter, channel 2 bridged front mids, channel 3 bridged rear tweets, channel 4 bridged rear mids ditching all passive crossovers correct? Can I blow the tweeters running them straight to amp or do i need to install resistor. I have also seen that people run an active crossover in between HU and Amp but do i need to still install if my head unit comes with a network mode built in crossover. Can i just run the it straight to amp?
