Converting An Explorer to Xploder

so here it is!, the system is finally done.

-- Special thanks to Michael Talaj for designing the enclosure, providing the amp and all the other little things along the way. --

50FT of O Gauge (Knu)
2 300Amp fuses (Knu)
2 Optima Yellowtops and a 1000CCA motomaster.
American Bass XD2000 (aprox. 2500RMS at .67 OHM's)
6 Sony Xplods (wired together with 8gauge)
custom made ported/braced box (glued, screwed every 3" [holes filled with glue], all inside seams caulked, sanded flush and filled seams.
(^the box designed by Michael Talaj, made by me^)
simple sony deck (CD/AUX)

^^ ^^

(No big three yet, but im going to do within the next few days)

took about a month or two to get this done, but WELL worth the wait.

Don't smoke in mine, but yeah doobs for sure LOL I am really only good for Saturdays tho as I have an insane work schedule. OK now I have to hear this as I am one of those big Sony haters LOL More all Sony products, not just their car audio tho. I have my reasons LOL. For sure let me know anytime you are working on it on a Saturday, sometimes even on Fridays later in the day works too.

maybe you failed to notice the amount of bracing it has. i designed the enclosure, and told him what he had to do, and it came out remarkable. it's silly loud for a bunch of $50 10"s

to andy, deffinatly post some more pics if you can.

u told him to use caukin? cmon man, what is that? use resin next time, resin the whole box, not just the corners. doesnt the caulkin just peel off?
