Q1-750 Amplifier

I can't run 0 gauge in this thickest, can I? I can only run 4? Also, what's the difference between 1000 watts @ 5% THD as compared to 750 watts @ 1% THD?

What volumes should I have in a ported as well as sealed box for this sub? I can't seem to find any information.. Also, what size port should I run?

from what I can see that amp does come with zero gauge inputs , something cool that you can do would be to purchase dual inputs from toolmaker metalworks I think its about 20 bucks or so that will help your elecitrcal drastically


ive seen guys run these in 2.5 to 4.5 cube boxes with good results , a good rule of thumb for port area is 12 to 16 sq inches per cubic ft , the only downside I can see from that subwoofer is that its a 2.5 inch voice coil rather then a standard 3 which will handle more power , and allow you to play your system for longer periods of time without issues , the standard 2.5 can handle 600 rms all day , but the more power you add the better the 3 inch coil subwoofer will be for you

Thanks! I like your suggestion about toolmakers metalworkz. I am unable to run the 3 inch voice coil for that subwoofer because of my limited space situation. How well do you think the HDS 200 12 will handle the Q1 750 @ 1 ohm? Do you think I will have any problems, and if so, what are my options for my situation?

Gotcha totally forgot about the limited space , you should be fine with the 2.5 and that amplifier , if you build accordingly and give your self the max amount of space and port area needed you should be good to go Toolmakers a good guy , and makes some quality stuff really adds to coolness of the install to
