Critical Mass brand, is it really that good?

I came across an article online about the brand, and then a few MSRP and E-bay auctions...Is this brand really that good that demands price points like these. And the subs have a new technology that makes them likeweight, crystal clear and can handle 2500rms/5000 peak.

Anyone ever heard/listened to any of their products before?

There's a few links of some magazine testing of the "Top 10 subs"

Just browsing through the articles and the homepage for the business, it seems like it's all talk and advertising for the rich celebrities that have no idea other than to spend $239K for their "True 5.1" system, since they can afford it...and than brag about the equivalence of a house price for their mobile system. They sound like a used car salesman (yes not even a new car dealership). When describing the subs strcuture and system (explaining how they don't need the crazy weight), but more to the cooling effect; they spelt "venturi" as ventury. Come on...Is this a hi-class company like McIntosh?

What are your guys opinions?

Pretty Bold to claim the best sub ever made! at $3K

Look for the "since our systems and components are lite weight they'll help 1/4 times and 0-60 times, instead of having a 100+ lb system box in the trunk. Do they really need to state this fact?

Hilarious for those auctions...are that there's no returns or exchanges...lmao

umm, who? i mean, i only know so much about a select few brands, but these subs claim to use neo magnets, so i dunno maybe that explains the small size, but going threw the rest of there stuff...10+ grand for an amp that does 1000 watts rms isn't happening in my lifetime. nor is paying 4 grand for a sub (both through their catalogue). on ebay another amp (looks the same but with higher power ratings, go figure) it says it was designed to push that UL12, so i guess you need two and a smaller amp to get the good stuff out of the sub. then again, i have been wrong on these boards before, but coming from the 2009 Eastern Canadian 120-129.9 BassRace Champion, i'd pass lol. finally i get to use that title

Other than your sig.... where does it say your the BassRace champ? Is this based on points? Total numbers of times won? Consistently hitting solid 29.9's? Just asking because I remember something on SPL tv about who was the BassRace champ and NOONE knew there even could be one. lol

Just playing bro, I too know what it's like for Deezy to take my money... gonna do 39.9 for 2010?

They produce results, but not multiple thousand dollar results.

He got lucky at finals is how he got to be champ. LOL I was asleep in my car just before our first run as I worked all the night before. If it was based on points I would have been the eastern champ. 10+ shows and 1st 2nd or 3rd at every one including 3 1st places. Love ya though Myles LOL

lolll the trophy in my basement. to be honest i have no idea how the leader was determined, i just won at the eastern canadian finals and they gave me a trophy that says eastern canadian champ hahaha. as for doing 39.9, i'd like to if i can hit a decent score in the 40's, but i haven't tested the new setup yet. it depends too on the competition because i don't want to show up and be the only guy in 39.9. it would be nice because then i can boast about winning, but wouldn't be as much fun. sorry OP for jacking your thread

Nothing I have seen really shows that they have any kind of innovative or high quality products. What I have seen is some re-badge and mark up action though.

Like you said.. all advertising.
