I have a BMF1000D bass amp and just got a remote gain control unit from someone on this board. I hooked up a telephone cord between the 2 and nothing happens. Does it require a special cable or is my unit defective??
Can anyone help me with this?

 

Same thing happened to me, got a Rockford Punch 300:1 amp, and then got the controller about a month later, used an eithernet cord. It lights up, but doesn't work...
