im no where near a backyarder. its funny everybody wants to put their 2 cents in and disrespect others. the issue is the customer service. the deck is installed and works great it faills in cold morning problobly a cold solder. who defines who a pro is ive seen a lot of shops with reaL bad installer and ive trainned kids that want to learn the trade do awesome work. im not complaining about the installer at visions just complaining about the customer service. ive contacted clarion and ill send it in no problem

Doesnt matter if you buy online, just make sure they are authorized to sell the product. Ive boughten all my maxxsonics stuff from online car stereo, and was able to have products warrantied directly from maxxsonics and not the store.

not disrespecting anyone.. just showing you the other side... we make money on our installs and in returne you get peice of mind.... now thats not to say you are not the next reme.. but i have no way of knowing that..and i cant take anybodies word on that....so as far as iam concerned if you are not a certified installer, meaning getting paid as your full time job, then i have to assume you know nothing.. now as you mentioned the install is tight.. good... and you have localized the problem to the unit itself.. great... now who made the unit... take it to them.. visions didnt make it they just carry the crap.. due what i suggested in my last post and things should get taken care of.. if you still have issues contact jay habberman and complain to him.. he is a fantastic rep and can get results with one call..

i meant no disrespect neither in the ottawa area there is only 5-6 of us that have been doing this for living for more than 20 years and if new guys want to learn the trade its great cause car stereo is slowing down the industry is changing fast in ontario we had to get certified because too many guys would take a day course and call themself installer and made us look bad specially with car starter. the only reason i bought it there and not from my supplier is because it was dirt cheap wicked cheap under cost. ive work for a clarion dealer for 8 years and they had great product so wether its bottom or top of the line their product was awesome.
