go to the depot, rona charges after the second cut (not sure in sauga, here in scalankastan they do) as for quality it depends what fool is cutting the lumber, i've had good and bad dealings, didn't have my table saw with me and they had some newbie using the saw there and had him to cut 3 pieces of 1x14x3/4 oak plank he was off by almost 1/2" too small on each piece

Uhhh, I've never paid for cuts at Home Depot, but I go to the one at Laird and Eglinton. Granted I only ever get maybe 6 or 7 cuts max, but I've only paid for the sheet or 1/2 sheet.

They have been off by and 1/8'' sometimes, but as long as you're keeping a close eye and explain that you need it to be exact it usually works out.

You could always try getting them to cut it in half or buying half sheets if they'd make it more manageable for you to cut yourself.

Take a measuring tape and check each one to show that you're serious, and as soon as they screw up and make one too small start a fuss. Too big is ok because it can be fixed. If the cut is too small you're screwed.

Or just play it safe and ask for all your cuts a little bigger than you need them and then just fix them on your own, at least that way they can't screw it up too much.
